I've turned to moderated forums and have learned a great deal in these
forums as well.
Too bad its turned out this way.

Mike,
I have always enjoyed your input to this group, including the photo
albums of trips, etc. I don't own a jeep right now, mainly because I am
planning a move to the Philippines to live where my fiancée is from. It
is Jeep heaven there! They even use Jeeps for public transportation as
you probably know. A lot of the replacement parts for the old Jeeps are
made there also.
I highly doubt I will buy a Jeep before I make my move, but it would
have been cool to get together with a bunch of people from here and do
something like that. Luckily you got to experience it. Too bad a few
people have totally decimated this group. I would imagine any newcomers
here would just leave when they see all the spam and bickering between a
few net morons.

Re: OT - 225 and counting :-(
Mike,
I have always enjoyed your input to this group, including the photo
albums of trips, etc.

Anyone know how to set up an NNTP server?
If I did, I would set it up with the groups I like (like this one), and
pretty much grant posting privelages to anyone who asked nicely, and already
had a posting history on that group through another source.
I would also be pretty quick to filter posts from specific sources (like
google).
But, alas, I have no idea how to do this.
