Re: open letter to rec.autos.makers.jeep+******
Count me in too about keeping Bill around.. I really haven't asked alot of
questions but I have read alot of Bill's advice... If you do a search in the
newsgroup, you can sometimes find the answer already for you from Bill with
a link to a pic or a parts diagram or to someone that has fixed the same
problem you have had... The newsgroup wouldn't be the same without him
around...

Re: open letter to rec.autos.makers.jeep+******
On balance he does more good than harm, but clearly has the need to rule the
roost. I think he'd have a coronary if anyone else cared to spend as much
time answering messages as he does.
Yes, for unknown reasons he tags quite a few innocuous posts as trolling.
He'll also change the topic when he's wrong, seemingly to get in the last
word and somehow prove something.
This group is obviously a large part of his life, so you'll probably be
disappointed if you expect him to change.

Re: open letter to rec.autos.makers.jeep+******
You can't give an example of me, Bill, changing the topic. I hit
them head-on correcting lies about diesels, Daimler's C clip rear ends,
or the effectiveness of ABS in off road condition, backing each of my
statements with web sites.
You're right I don't have a life, other than my Grandkids:
