OK, and what are they all in reply to? Context is everything. Most of the
time, people who get flamed deserve it. And yes, he may be grouchy ...but
you would be too if your niche in life was the "Designated Jeep-Related Link
Webmaster of the World." I mean, cmon ...I'm pretty sure if someone asked
what the nut on the back of the rear seat's seatbelt bolt looked like on a
1952 CJ3B, Bill would eventually find a link to a picture or diagram of it.
As long as you aren't praising diesel or non-American products, Bill will
usually leave you alone :)
Now I'd like to see you compile a list of all the times Bill has helped
someone. Why not just post a week's worth of posts? I bet it'd be about a
5KB+ message of just text for only a week. Weighing the pros and cons ...I
think I'd like to keep Bill around ...
griffin
'85 CJ7 that WONT GODDAMN RUN TODAY!!! AHHHH!! It's pouring rain outside and
everyone's going to the mud trail. START DAMN YOU!! Sorry ...rant mode off.
Time to go fix stuff.

He has helped me about half a dozen times and I've only had my jeep for a
few months. The biggest trouble with internet posts is that you cannot get
a feel for the tone of the writer. Add me to the "bill has generously
helped" list. If he posts anything that I do not agree with, I treat the
post like I would if were written by anbody else, I ignore it.
