Diesels are far more energy efficient, producing less carbon emmissions than
a petrol vehicle; most people would say this is the primary environmental
problem of our times. The only issue with diesels is the particulate
emmissions which is pretty much solved with the latest filters. The current
American Scientific has a major article on this issue if your interested;
seems the new hydrogen fuel cells are a disaster environmentally.

Geez Chris! Learn what CO stands for! Then read it from a chart they
hope to restrict their pollution in the future to:
http://www.dieselnet.com/standards/us/light.html Then compare it to my
twenty five year old Bronco tests: http://www.----------.com/smog.jpg I
know what a diesel is good for I've hauled eighty thousand pounds over a
million miles, but passenger cars are not one of them, thank God all but
a few VWs are outlawed here in California.
PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF!
