I believe it is the best by far way to go on an off road rig. Vibration
and heat is always an issue with any added wires or parts.
I just tag the battery wire in a short loop to pin 86 because I want to
be able to turn on my lights anytime.
I use the Hellas off road in the day for visibility to oncoming ATV's or
dirt bikes on our trails. Only ever had one bike have to pull a 'ditch
or die' in front of me so far. At least he had the time to
decide.... Don't need to wear out the Jeep light bulbs when trail
running.
