I had a sharp parts fellow explain to me that I didn't need the whole
panel, just the switch. He then suggested I check it out in the
parking lot if I could. Sure enough it was bad right out of the box
and he got me another. It lasted about a year. I stopped at another
dealership to get one and the parts guy swore that the only way I
could replace it was to buy the whole panel. Only after some
significant prodding did he drill down and find out it wasn't
necessary. Needless to say I haven't gone back there for anything
else...
