The argument has always been made that EBAY items are not "for sale",
they are "for auction". A lot of people see that as a major distinction
and get really annoyed when EBAY auctions are portrayed as "for sale".
Usually, putting "FA" in the SUBJECT line instead of "FS" will keep you
out of hot water, but that depends on the current mood of those that police.

Perhaps it is time to revise the charter, if everyone besides Bill is
offended to personal eBay auction items. I don't think this violates eBay's
Usenet policy, since our charter doesn't address eBay auctions by personal
individuals, which is different from companies trying to sell their wares
through eBay.
