as of '06, 13 seer is mandatory. just wait until the next time you have an
a/c unit replaced......and the customer looks at the service tech as if its
his fault.

So we are going to have to install a $300 catalytic converter on our $99
mower?
My parents finally got central A/C last year. The guy explains all the
pros and cons of the different models and efficiencies. What surprised me
was when he said the higher SEER models had poor reliability and actually
discouraged that choice.

You could carry around a huge block of dry ice. You wouldn't have to
mop that off the floor. ;^)
