That's not true at all, you need both fog lamps and head lights at the same
time to have enough light to see where you are going.

Running with fog lamps alone does not provide enough light to see where you
are going. What fog lights do is light up the the fog from a different angle
than the head lights, which cuts the reflected light from the head lights.
You need headlamps and fog lights at the same time.

Plus it's against the law here in Kalyfornia to drive with just the
