Re: [jeep2diesel] Deisel Jeep Conversions
Yup, that's what a diesel is good for, transporting eighty
thousands pounds with one thousand cubic inches at about four miles to
the gallon: http://www.cummins.com/na/pages/en/p...trucks/isx.cfm
Just what do you think would happen to one of your injectors if you
didn't change those giant fuel filters and lube finers.
Maybe your diesette isn't hard to start. But, haven't you ever
driven through a truck stop and noticed all the engines were running
24/7?
God, I was so happy when the Mercedes across the street from me
gave up, knowing no more new Mercedes diesels will ever be sold nor
grandfathered in again, here in God Country.

Wow! where can I buy gas for $3/gal? I might just buy a tanker full.
Big hint: its about $6.50/gal at my local station. Lets see how loud the
anti-diesel lobby are when they have to pay that!:-)

How much of that is for the gas and how much is for the taxes? Do you
think they won't charge taxes on the diesel fuel?

Re: [jeep2diesel] Deisel Jeep Conversions
Diesel has retailed for more than regular gasoline since the
eighties, here in California.
