OK very quick update. Since fill up with 91 octane (still on 87 tune) I already have 75klm and its just down to the full mark, that is about 15-20 klm more then I usually get. But, alas, I am too impatient to wait any longer. As much as this 91 octane on the 87 tune looks like its worthwhile I am itching to try the 91 tune.

Ok check in - 91 tune around town there seems to be a little more torque in the bottom end in the 1500 rpm range. Seems to pull a little better, operative work here folks "a little better" not Hemi better.. LOL

Stay Tuned! LOL

Whhooo I love this 91 Octane tune. Jury is out to whether its going to balance out cheaper or cost more to run but it runs soooo nice. I can feel the extra pull in the bottom end. Again, not a racecar or a Hemi but much better then stock.
I'll try the tow tune next week as this seems to be the preferred tune for JKU's with bigger tires.

I would also like to add at this time that the BIGGEST changes the Flashpaq makes is when you bump up the Rev Limiter, Speedo Limiter and change the throttle response. The JK is a totally different animal on the highway and passing at 160kph (O/D OFF in my case) is not a problem.

The ProCal allows you to reset your tires size or gear change to correct your speedo and they do a few other things like allow you to set TPMS levels and a few other small things that you can actually set without it.
- It DOES NOT let you reprogram your engine for optimal performance, i.e. 87 octane tune, 91 Octane, 93 Octane, Tow tune, mileage XS tune, Crawl tune. .
- It DOES NOT allow you to adjust throttle response, rev limiter, or speed limiter.
- It DOES NOT allow you to adjust transmission shift points. (This feature is an extra download for a small fee)

The Superchips Flashpaq or Diablo Predator do all of this plus more.

Thanks....i suspected that the ProCal was missing something given the price point but wasn't sure.

I suspect that when tuning for performance, the Flashpaq is playing with the A/F ratio....did you have any issues i.e. any knocking?

There are many things taken into account with the performance tunes including engine timing as well as air/fuel ratios.
No knock or ping issues at all..

Just a quick Check in..

91 Octane tune is fun to drive, pulls good on hills, but the mileage is not as good. I will give it another 100klm or so to see what happens. If mileage is not a concern you will love this tune.
