Superchips does not support 2011 Jeeps....yet! I guess I will have to wait.

Just filled up , calculated at 16.6 mpg 14.2l/100klm mixed city hwy with 91 octane fuel and 91 octane tune. Not bad considering I have been stepping on it a little here and there to see how it pulls. No doubt I will easily get 18-19mpg if I drive conservatively.

UPDATE:
235klm into this tank of premium(91) on 91 Octane tune and I really love how the motor feels. My only problem with it is that there are alot of fuel stations in the outlying areas that don't carry 91 Octane and I may not always have the tuner with me to tune it back down to 87Octane. Fuel mileage was also good on the 91 Octane performance tune but not as good as running 91 on the 87 performance tune.

But, alas I must try the other tunes so on to the TOW Tune.. So, in town TOW Tune is snappy (not like the 91 octane performance tune, but acceptable and still way better then stock). On the highway passing is not an issue and no probs climbing hills. The biggest difference I noticed is the shift program is different (much better then stock). It seems even smoother then the performance tunes and holds onto the gears a little longer before upshift and shifts down a little sooner when climbing hills. I'll finish off this tank with the Tow tune and see what the overall mileage looks like.

I notice this after turning o/d off. So can only imagine how good it would be with the tune. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely! I run with O/D OFF 90% of the time. Eventually I will regear to 5.13..

Roadtrip to the beach tomorrow.. We'll see how the Tow Tune is on the highway for a longer distance.

UPDATE:
Full tank of 91 Octane on Tow Tune - mixed but mostly highway 100kph using cruise where possible. Calculated mileage 12.9L/100klm or 18.2 mpg (dash computer average said 12.6L/100klm).

Conclusion, so far I prefer the Tow Tune overall for a good mix of performance and economy.

FYI if your mileage is 1L/100klm less when using premium fuel over regular then you are breaking even $ wise.

Mileage on Premium = 12.9L/100klm VS Mileage on regular = 13.9L/100klm = same dollar value..

My findings to date: Remember this with 35" tires w/ 3.73 gears running with O/D OFF
Average mileage 87 Octane Performance Tune on 87 Octane 14-14.2L/100klm (16.8mpg)
Average mileage 87 Octane Performance Tune on 91 Octane 13.8L/100klm (17mpg)
Average Mileage 91 Octane Performance Tune on 91 Octane 13.2L/100klm (17.8mpg)
Average Mileage Tow Tune on 91 Octane 12.9L/100klm (18.2mpg)

FYI for those not sure whether a tuner is worth it...

3.6L Pentastar = 285hp 260ftlb torque @ engine

3.8L V6 = 205hp 237ftlb torque @ engine

Dyno charts with Superchips 91 Octane Performance Tune 3.8L show Gains of 21rwhp and 30ftlb torque rearwheel. realize that these show at the rear wheel gains which would be even higher if measured off the engine as the factory specs above are. Which means the 3.8 with this tune does put out more torque then the stock 3.6L with a curve almost as flat, at least until a tuner is available for the 3.6L.

You're B/E analysis should be taken with a grain of salt. For a 7% decrease in fuel consumption may/may not yield a breakeven $. It depends on the gas station. For example, Costco reg = $119.9, while 91 = $127.9, that's a 6.7% price variance in favour for 91. However if you go to Shell at 1292 Dupont (according to TorontoGasPrices.com), reg = $123.2, while Premium = $135.9,, which yields a price variance of 10% in favour of reg. My analysis could be flawed in that Shell's premium might be different from Costco (does anyone know what Shells Premium is?).

BUT your 91 Octane Performance Tune on 91 Octane with tow tune looks really good.
I can't wait till they have the pack for the 2011.

My figures are based on the prices in Thunder Bay where 91 octane is always .10 / litre more then regular (87 octane) no matter what station you fill up at. $1.30 reg $1.40 prem at present.
So that being said:
64L Premium at $1.40/L = $89.60
$89.60 / $1.30/L= 68.92L regular
Therefore: 64L of premium is = in dollar value to 68.92L of Regular
496klm traveled on 64L premium = 12.9L/100klm or 18.2 mpg
496klm traveled on 68.92L regular = 13.9L/100klm or 16.9 mpg

Difference of roughly 1L/100klm or 1.3mpg US..

Yeah I was going by TorontoGasPrices.com. I don't know how accurate that report is. I never fill up on Premium. Come to think of it, I am going to try Premium next time to see if I get better fuel economy without the SC.
