Fireman, very "clean" looking Jeep, I can see my reflection in the paint all the way from here... :)
Mud just creates a protective layer so your paint doesn't get faded from the acid rain, bugs, trees, etc.

That's a hell of a way to make your seats feel like new Mike lol, I remember calling the g/f to come out and see if she could still check the oil with it on the stands when she asked why I told her that's how high the Jeep is going. Good thing she's tall!
When she got her 04 I kept wanting to hop up into it. Lucky I didn't give myself a concussion with the A-pillar.

Looks like I may be getting a 98 TJ (2.5, 5 speed) so I'm really hoping that I win the lottery so I'll be able to retire one day. 4 kids and 4 Jeeps...anyone want to buy a kid? Their all house broken!

so will the kid come with the jeep already? why couldn't you have a daughter in her early twenties LOL

yea my brothers are all around 5'9, but im only 5'7... i've always been the runt of the family, i dont think i've ever hit 200 lbs never mind 300 and excess (oldest is 380+ older is 330, I think i peaked out at 170 maybe, and the youngest was 280, and lost 60lbs apparently...)

my weight gain has been mostly from living in the states, and having mcdonalds and burger king on each corner of every block... when you don't swim, hike and mountain bike all summer or play hockey, snowboard and hike all winter, the lbs add up! where i lived in NB, Mcdoanlds was a 30 minute drive, Burger King was a hour in the complete other direction! so there wasn't much of that going on...

i put new battery terminals on my jeep today, they're intended for big rigs, can hold 4 2/0 cables, leaving myself a room for a winch connection

Sorry the daughter is only 13 so that deals off for a few years lol, the oldest boy (19) though can go, useful in the garage. 6'-9"/ 300lbs so can be used as a large lever or counterweight if needed. WARNING: eats a lot!

i finally got some good news today, got a phone call for an interview... i hate the fact that its best buy's geek squad... but still its money... and it'll be easy for me... and potentially leave me available to transfer jobs where ever i want to go...

And the bad news, No BC Job, no Ft. McMurray job, no Edmonton Job.... all because im not there already, all going local... driving me nuts... but wait theres MORE!

I got a wonderful phone call from the auto finance company today, they decided to put the remainder of my balance to a recovering agency... Even though i've made my payments recently (with a bit of help), because i missed a few payments here and there a year ago, and theres a few grand left on the vehicle and they want it, or whats due, in full.... they say im 5 months behind, and i've made Septembers payment (i pay at the end of the month) so im current according to capital one... but they dropped me October 2nd...

WTF... they just look at it as dollar signs, i still owe, and they think they can sell it for what is owed on it... who cares if i'll keep paying... bunch of con artists i swear...
I told them their not going to get the vehicle, and their going to have to get the payments at the end of the month like capital one was. but this is just stupid...

I swear from here on out, im buying the vehicle upfront, and putting the parts, gas and maintenance on credit. cause this kinda crap is BULLS#17. I wish i had the cash to pay it outright right now... but instead i've got to

Today?

Pulled out the driver side axle, cleaned and re-greased the CV joint, then put on a new CV boot and slapped it all back together...

Definetly Craig... I've got a few friends out in Surrey that are telling me of all the perfect jobs for me out there... its sickening... but i cant afford to make it out there just yet... i was hoping to be up this winter, but i think the spring is a more likely timeframe.

But there is really nothing i cant do, I was doing electronic security systems (Certified), and crazy computer work, its super easy for me, i've been at it for a loooong time. i've done high voltage electrical (commercial/non residential), i've worked retail, and i can work a shovel like its nobodys business... i can do just about everything but flip burgers... seriously i dont know how people do it, i just cant wrap my head around what all is going on as a cook, or taking orders or running a register... i like the social interaction but all the stupid commands and alterations and trying to make it work... id end up reprogramming the thing

Well hopefully something will work out for you soon, things are starting to pick up very slowly around here and should be rolling not to badly come spring. You think with all the security for the Olympics it shouldn't be to hard for you. Or are you on someones list?!

That's something that I've never done to mine and I probably should, whats the procedure Craig? New strap for the boot, reuse the old one's, what kind of grease?
