Learn how to knit then you can make him a friend. lol My husky was the same way. If he stood in one spot for more than a couple of minutes there was a pile of hair up to his knees.
Acceleration is a moot point with the lift and tires so I'm really light on the pedal anyways but I've heard that it does help a bit on the highway and in the lower gears at times.

maybe strap him to the roof and go for a cruise on the highway and get rid of the hair...

i spent the last few hours trying to figure out what was up with my under the hood lights...
ended up being a burnt in line fuse i forgot i added... (since its running off the battery directly, and didn't want anything inside the jeep to affect it... and the fuse is located within the frame of the hood...)

need to get new hood struts... the slightest breeze brings this thing down now... (all happened after the last wreck...)

Well I was thinking I would fix my shifter lights since they've worked once for about 5 minutes in the 3 years that I've owned the WJ, so I'm going through the manual and it says that the "electroluminescent strip" runs on 120 volts AC!!!
WTF! I'd like to know which braintrust at Chrysler had this brilliant idea.
So now I'm going to figure out a way to install a couple lights under there and be done with it, one more thing to add to the already long list of things to do when I have time.

i was just under there yesterday... didn't hook up the meter though... but the top of my shifter is all cracked from when customs went looking for drugs... the arseholes

i would have the perfect LED's for in there too, surface mounted little strip light from an LCD display... runs of 12v too...

Where did you get that from? I've been looking around town and can't find anything that's 12v without paying huge bucks for them.
Might have to order some on-line.

Got my upcountry springs and shocks in, replaced the front upper control arm and bushing and replaced the steering stabilizer. The upcountry springs gave me like an inch and a half of lift since my stock non upcountry springs were sagging so I'm pretty happy and it seems to ride better too, I think my shocks were shot. I'm still going to go through and check out all my control arm bushings but I think I got all the bad ones now.

Tomorrow I'm going to measure from the center of the hub to my wheel lip to get an idea of where I'm sitting now. Next on the list is a set of 31" mud terrains and an alignment and then I think I'm done with the suspension.

Only thing is I've noticed that I still have a bit of a wobble in the steering wheel at times but I noticed when I put the steering stabilizer in that I had bent the bracket a bit for it when I was using it as a jacking point to twist the diff rearward to line up the upper control arm, OOPS! I'm going to straighten that out tomorrow and hopefully that should take care of it.

Front end work is always fun, the bracket being bent won't effect to much, once you get your alignment done that will probably take care of the problem. If you find your still getting some wobble one thikng you can try is relocate your stabilizer to the track bar and drag link. It sometimes helps and it also lifts it up out of the way.

Did some late night solo wheeling last night... trails built for TJ's for sure lol had to take down a couple trees with my bumper so i could pass in a few areas... damn longer/wider wheel bases LOL (adding an axe to the recovery gear)

ran into a fellow jeeper in a TJ a friend of my uncles so were going to all get together and head out someday...

today is going to be fab-ing up a proper exhaust hanger for the turn down...
really i need to replace to shorten that last 90 bend since my muffler is right up against the frame, it rattles like a bitch

I've got to go and modify mine a bit, the last system I had put on the shop welded it out completely which is good (nothing to snag on) but they removed every hanger underneath. I now have one at the firewall and one at the tailpipe. I wish I would have checked it before they took it off the hoist, I would have made them put them back on. Doesn't rattle which is good but if I ever snag something I'm going to be dragging the whole system.
