Default TJ rotors question.

I belong to another car forum (lxforums.com) and since I find it very helpful I thought I'd head over here to ask a question about my wife's Jeep TJ.
The Jeep is 18 months old and has about 11,000 kms on it and now she notices real bad vibration from the brakes. My opinion is that the rotors are warped.
Now my question is: Is this an ongoing problem with the 2006 TJ's and are the dealers replacing them under warranty?
Thanks in advance....

11,000 KM's and 18 months old. The math states this vehicles sits a lot. Average mileage on a vehicle, is 20-30,000 KM's yearly. If a vehicle sits for long periods, you will get rust buildup, caliper sliders seizing. Your guess that the rotors are warped is close. They usually rot, and you can see it from the inside of the rotor. Have your wheels pulled, by a service guy you know/trust.
