I drove my Rubi from WI to Rapid City,SD with half doors off, manual gears
churning and no cruise control at all. I loved every minute of it. I
enjoyed it all on the way back too. Best trip I ever had.
all that wind rushing in kept the top from flapping. ; )
Sadly, my Rubi is gone.
I am looking for a newer Rubi tho!

Putting the top down for the entire trip is pretty much the way to
go to get rid of the noise. Wear a tight fitting hat to keep the
sun out of your eyes and you should be fine. The wind blowing around
your face keeps you awake, too... =)
