I know exactly what you are talking about. I purchased a Convert-A-Top
http://www.allthingsjeep.com/cloverp...ert-a-top.html
and can ride on the interstates in silence. If it rains I pop the windows
in. I also have a Window Roll. It works.

If I'm going anywhere on the highway with the top up and my windows out I
out a ball-bungie around the sail panel and the roll bar on my 2000 TJ. It
seem to quiet the flapping down.

out a ball-bungie around the sail panel and the roll bar on my 2000 TJ. It
seem to quiet the flapping down.

I drove my Rubi from WI to Rapid City,SD with half doors off, manual gears
churning and no cruise control at all. I loved every minute of it. I
enjoyed it all on the way back too. Best trip I ever had.
all that wind rushing in kept the top from flapping. ; )
Sadly, my Rubi is gone.
I am looking for a newer Rubi tho!
