www.jeep.com, you will see that the GC and Liberty is included (I'm sure
it's not just to take up space). Then if you take a look at the "trail
rated" crap, you will also see the Liberty driving over, through and up
everything the Wrangler and GC is. You will also note the Wrangler having
trouble getting up the hill (spinning). You will also note the Liberty is
the ONLY one of the Jeep products not smacking it's butt on the ground
clearance test. In real life. Seen both. Granted, the Wrangler looks more
offroad ready then the 4wd toaster but looks isn't everything. Go to
www.4x4movies.com, clock on movies, click on rockclimbing then H2 carnige.
Goes to show that it looks touch but is a ----- cat. The Lib looks like a
cream puff but it will kick butt (and mud) anyday. Nuff said.

Re: Why Jeeps suck.
<< Tell me, what makes a JEEP a utility vehicle? Yeah, toss a cooler that can
hold 6 cans of pop and maybe if your lucky, a bag of chips. Sport, yes,
utility, go look it up. I always have to laugh when I see a wrangler with a tow
bar on the back. I wonder just what it can tow. Maybe a bike rack? >>
Seriously? Well, I tow a trailer i had custom made for the TJ (same wheelbase,
lots of clearance, etc). Going to elk camp last year I had... lessee... a
crapload of ash firewood, 2 large full coolers, tons of camping and hunting
gear, etc.
You are probably coming at this from a large trailer or boat perspective. The
TJ is not the rig to tow that stuff. 1500 lbs is a LOT of gear and the TJ tows
that fine.
