You can't beat the 2100 for cost. Got mine at the local junk yard for $15,
and didn't even need a kit for it. Heck, the adapter cost almost as much as
the carb. Fired right up, with very little tinkering. One thing to note,
as you've no doubt seen from the write-ups on the web. Make sure you get
the one with the smallest bore (1.08 I believe), as this will most closely
match the 258.

Yup, Ford and Holley use to sell neoprene needle seats for their
higher pressure mechanical pumps pressures of the Muscle cars of the
time. If your buying gloves and working alcohol, don't use neoprene:
