Re: Transmission Probs..
That could imply it has hit hard, hard enough to shift the tub maybe? I
would be taking a tape measure to it just to see.... I shifted my CJ's
once. I was kinda tipped over though to do it....

Assuming the shifter/shift fork is fully engaging the gear in question,
jumping out of gear is almost always caused by worn teeth on either the gear
itself, or the clutch sleeve (that's the sliding ring the shift fork moves
to engage the gear). A worn synchronizer will just cause it to grind, not
pop out of gear.
