I found those in the box after the starter I put
in my old C-10 did a good impression of a jet taking off.
Went from just replacing the nose and bushing to a
rebuild.

Thanks for the input. I took the starter to the part store and had it bench
tested. It failed. They replaced it free since I had the receipt and it was
purchased 12/10/04. For $37 I guess you get what you pay for. I'm gonna
have someone look at the alignment and see if it needs shims. It doesn't
sound bad when starting, it sounds nice_and_ cranks right up. If I can't get
those rebuilts to last more than 4 months I might just buy a mean green or
something.
