Re: Wiper / Ignition Wiring?
The last person to take the windshield off didn't plug in the
harness correctly. It's hard to do upside down under the dash, most of
us splice in a trailer type connection.

Those are the rings. They can be repaired if worn. Hard silver solder
or lead free solder which is pretty hard can fill up the low spots.
Regular electronic solder is way too soft.
I would see what happens when the black wire is off. If it works, then
I likely would leave well enough alone unless I got ambitious one day...

plate? These showed signs off wear. The one contact brush didn't look too
good either. The wipers work fine though. I just need to turn the switch
off when they reach the right spot on the windshield. I'll disconnect the
black and see what happens.

The rings your referring too are the copper ones located on the plastic
plate? These showed signs off wear. The one contact brush didn't look too
good either. The wipers work fine though. I just need to turn the switch
off when they reach the right spot on the windshield. I'll disconnect the
black and see what happens.
