It would be cool, if all laws were enforced the way they were written. That
would be incentive, to clean up the law books. And get that lazy good for
nothing sheriff off her fat ***...

: That is a shame. Your scars are unfortunate reminders of that incident,
and
: I'm sorry it happened to you, but it wasn't the fault of the dog.
Oh, I agree completely. It was an unfortunate happenstance.
Luckily it was not a really serious injury, just a few stitches here and
there.
My mom just could not take the chance that it might happen again, even if
she gave him away.
If - and I do say IF - I remember correctly she got him while working for
the Sheriff's department. I think he was a former K9.
Like i said, I was 4 or five years old. That's a long time ago, back when
dawgs still had tusks and I am not sure of the whole story.
For some reason I am thinking that she was trying to rescue him in some way
or something. Like he was going to be put down and she wanted to try. I
just don't know - sorry.
Mom was great with animals she could teach a critter to do damn near
anything, even her big white dog to go get her dish, climb up th the table
with it, set it down and bark for beer.
She once had a horse that would play soccer well... sort of.
He would pick the ball up in his teeth and throw it and he would kick the
ball and chase it. Funny as hell.
He's entertain himself for the longest time with that ball.
Actually, I think that was my dad's horse.
: GSD's are the exact product of their environment and upbringing.. German
: Shepherds love children by nature, and one that bites a child, wasn't
: properly trained. Simple as that. My grandson at Christmas reached down
the
: throat of my "Zeke" to "get his cookie back". Zeke wouldn't think of ever
: biting that child.
Good dog.
:
: I could not kill a dog that did something like that, when it was I that
had
: failed, and not the dog.
Careful there.... you just never know.
: I've had GSD's for 40 of my 42 years. (5 total dogs, plus a new puppy
now )
: Two well trained police K-9's among them.
