There are crack heads in montana. But mostly what you get is
outlaw bikers with speed labs, until the law catches up with
them.

I looked at the Rhino and still am looking at it but I always ride
alone so the issue is more what can my back handle rather than how
much performance it has. But after looking at the Rhino which is not
cheap. I haven't driven one yet. I could buy a Sandrail or a Rail
Buggy and have a full rollcage, more comfort and more grunt.
But then again a rail buggy is just a 2wd. A Jeep is not an ATV. So
it's a tough choice. Hands down the Rhino would win at plowing a
driveway.

I have a built in fear factor. I know when I am pushing myself and
that's usually when things go ---- up.
Sleds can be a lot of fun but the stuff under the snow plus stuff on
the trails can kill you. My neighbor was jetting around on his dads
sled at night. he hit a barb wire fence going pretty fast and
decapitated himself. This was around 26 years ago.
Sleds can be deadly but ATV's are not much better. a 4x4 is safest but
going offroad isn't safe to begin with, it's just you have to minimize
doing stupid stuff.

Accidents happen all the time, that's whythey are accidents. The worst
ones are the preventable ones. Lotys of kids get hurt gooofing around
doing stuff they shouldn't.
I read that story about 5 kids getting killed on an ATV. Sorry but
blaming the driver of the car isn't the real answer. Young kids
shouldn't be out on the roads on an overloaded quad and unsupervised.
Tragic but chances are the kids were doing something stupid. Starting
with 5 of them on it.
I actually saw a kid get hit on a bicycle about 10 years back. The kid
was doing jumps off the curb into a super busy street. No parents
around and this street is a 25 mph so the cops can collect tickets but
it's a lot of cars and very few are going 25 mph.
Plus teh kid was riding around IN the street in and around the cars.
I saw him doing this when I was going up the street. Coming back the
bike was crumpled and he was messed up real bad lots of ambulances.
He died shortly after. The parents of course blamed the driver of the
car.The driver got 5 years but because witnesses testified what the
kid was doing in the street. The sentence was suspended.
Kids need a place to ride bikes and ATV's and all the fun stuff but a
busy street or highway just isn't the place.
Sorry for the rant.

Yeah I think now I'd go with an Auto on a 4x4 quad. Ditto on a 4x4
Jeep.

This is why I think Florida sucks. My sister lives down there and car
jackings are like nothing down there. They happen all the time.
Screw that. I think in Montana you are allowed to carry a gun as long
as it's holstered.
