one of the best things about usenet is the people themselves and the
interface, if you want someone to smile at you while they bend you over the
counter....go see the local jeep dealer. If you want to learn....listen up
on this board, even tho some are gruff and uncouth (or maybe even rude) at
times, they will tell you the truth. Oh and if you make a stupid statement
or two...you'll read about it. I appreciate that these guys take the time
to answer questions...and I am not a newby at this so they could really
question why I was being such a dumbass. Look for the pearls in the oysters
of crap...they are really there.

interface, if you want someone to smile at you while they bend you over the
counter....go see the local jeep dealer.

Yup, and except for Dean's axle I was correct, remember? Out of
http://www.currieenterprises.com/ , http://www.drivetraindirect.com/ ,
or http://www.dynatrac.com/ only the last had the option for their Dana
60, and only after many of our letter did the offered a Dana 44 disk
brake, ABS for four thousand bucks. Looking through their sites looks
like they've removed all reference to it, good they'll probably kill
someone. BTW when are you going get rid of that that thing, and get a
Real Jeep rear end?

Jerry Branham ripped you a new backside on that one. I don't claim any
knowledge of aircraft. Pick on him for a while. I notice that he rarely
stops by, for very good reason.
I suppose I could google the back records for the last time we tangled.
Seems to me on that one you complained that my masked e-mail address
prevented you from inviting me out to the parking lot to discuss things.
Oh well. Want to repeat that comment again?
If you have the sense to recognize a troll to see what kind of response
you will come up with this time, I'd advise you to just ignore this.
Otherwise, have at it in your usual indominatable manner. Have fun!!! I
will, watching you explode as usual.
Cheers.

Here are a couple personal examples.
1. You disputed claims (from me and others) that the new "Hemi" engine was
not a Hemi at all, and posted links to pages about (irrelevant) ancient
Hemis and marketing garbage stamped on the heads. When I posted up-to-date
info you moved on to irrelevant points about performance engines.
http://tinyurl.com/5amve
It's just as easy to google modern and accurate info as to rely on old
assumptions then dig up irrelevant stuff.
2. In this thread you accused a poor first-time poster who wanted better
mileage of being a troll (WHY?????) then went off topic. You claimed
"Because most of the TJs we see on the road weigh in at two tons, it's
physically impossible to get better mileage." When I posted a message
directly comparing the Wrangler SEs mileage and power vs. the Honda CR-V (at
similar weights) you said "I've never seen a Honda off road further than a
dirt parking lot, have you?"
Who cares? The OP wondered about the potential to improve MPG in a heavy
vehicle with high drag...and all signs say it's possible to some degree with
modern engines...
http://tinyurl.com/5cw5s
In my experience you get best answers when you mix experience with fresh
research. No offense meant, but then many people don't deserve "TROLL"
messages either.
