Essentially.. yes.. a real jeep has to be judged by what can be achieved
today.. any suggestion that a real jeep can only be a latter day clone of
the short, dumpy, drab vehicle that was driven around the Ardennes Forest
circa 1945 wielding a .50 cal machine gun, folding shovel and jerry can, or
an original from that period has to be tossed aside.. If all auto
manufacturer products were to be judged similarly, one could only imagine
what Nascar would have looked like.. Model T's sporting aerodynamic aides
and blown and injected 428's all because the Model T is the only real Ford..
yes, Ford Talladega owners.. your cars are not 'real' Fords.. lol
Having said that, Nathan Collier has a link to a page of Jeeps.. some of the
pics do NOT show real jeeps.. they are just Jeep-shaped.. lol
