online several times and we have higher standards here.

mobile data communication systems for 9 years or so, yup don't have any
clue about them thar eeelectronic bits and pieces whatsoever...

The only computer Mike recommends removing is the one that, and I
bet you can't find that still works, and it's only function is to
operate the Weber/Carter BBD stepper motor. The brain box that controls
the spark is left in place. Look again at the Nutter bypass:

ignition module is just a driver for the coil. The computer that your pal
recommends bypassing controls the timing. That is why the ignition wiring is
modified.
