MORE FRIGGEN HORSE POWER!
I have decided to do an overhaul on the 93 XJ and am looking for advice
on HP and TQ adding options that won't cost more in labor, parts cost
is ok. It is going to be bored anyhow and a new cam is going in it. I
was thinking maybe doing an RV cam and maybe a stroker crank but I am
not sure if he is replacing the injectors or not. I am trying to keep
cost down and increase HP and TQ
Im cheap, sorry.

Jeep related apparel coming soon but check these out anyhow.

Build a stroker with 4.2 parts, it's a popular rebuild, there are even
remanufacturers (Titan and Golan) that do this and sell the engines as
custom strokers... Basically you take a 4.0 block and head, and put the
old 4.2 Wrangler/CJ rotating bits in, the longer stroke of the 4.2 rods
and crank, gives you more displacement... Both of those engine remans
advertize 4.7 and 4.9 liter engines using this technique and some
combination of piston machining and overboring.
