Well let's just agree to disagree that Milemarker is the best thing
since sliced bread came along. You love Milemarker and tout their
company line as if you worked for them... I think that's great that you
have swallowed their hype hook line and sinker! ;)

So, I stated they are NOT designed and engineered here. I spoke to a
Milemarker engineer at a trade show for my company and he stated,
simply, they bought a new line of winches from China due to their losing
so much business to the electric winch industry. He specifically said
they didn't have much input on what they got other than color and
overall specs.

now thats not an accurate assessment of anything ive said. im simply
challenging the silly notion that the military reserves the "serious"
stuff for the few warns they still have on hand. the hydraulic winch
does not heat up, its capable of pulling FULL CAPACITY 24/7 and never
requires cool down. ive said many times that electric winches are
great but c'mon....even you have to admit that for "serious" work,
electric and hydraulic isnt even comparable.
