What the others said and lighter????
I sure don't think Jeep cast rims are 'lighter' by any amount, if
anything they are very heavy pigs....

Hi Mike,
They just look heavier, probably if you were fixing a tire or
whatever your experience was with the magnesium or later aluminum alloy,
it was stuck to the machine, but it's lighter at least by a fact of two.
Hot Rodders didn't put them on for looks, but faster acceleration, like
their aluminum flywheel.
