If you are really considering getting the 30 spline axles, then you should
do it. Any version of the 27 spline axles you have now will be essentially
the same, from the perspective of strength. There are all of the obvious
differences in terms of performance or function of the various 27 spline
options, but they are all essentially the same strength. The 30 spline
shafts are equivelent to the D44 for most people, and far superior to any of
the 27 spline options.
If you can get a TruTrac in a 30 splint configuration, then yes, it would be
better for the D35.
