Like I said...
What you're seeing in the pic of the full driveline is the wiring harness
and vent tube. In the T case pics, you're looking at the electrical position
indicator switch connector. Only the Jeeps with a front axle disconnect had
the vacuum switch, and no Grand ever had the front axle disconnect.

I don't see any in the 1995 FSM. Possibly Bill knows more than the
Chrysler engineers of course.
For the OP. Neither of the two places would be anywhere I'd take a Jeep
or pretty much any other vehicle for mechanical work.
