Here's the like Bill. Which cast iron alloy are you refering the Liberty
lower arm has? Or are they all the same to you? http://machinistinfo.com/types_of_cast_iron.htm "L.W. Re: Jeep Liberty recalled
Maybe, you may tell me which, cast iron it is, bad or worst?
Daimler sure as hell won't list it at any of their sites. They all just say the same thing as if under orders, " Sturdy, cast iron lower and forged steel upper control arms". Are you really trying to defend cast iron as opposed to forged steel? You know the only reason Daimler used it is to save some money, at the cost of lives. Maybe you can bring by a Libby so I may test the spark stream given off during a grinding operation to approximate the grade or alloy of a steel in it to a welding chart I use. And will you let me use the common sized ball pined hammer on it, like pretending you were driving over some rocks? :-) God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ So What? wrote: > > Here's the like Bill. I am 6' and weigh 200 pounds and she is 5'2" and I will not discuss her weight other than to say not as slender as she was 30 years ago, but we were both OK with the seats. They do feel narrower and at first I was concerned about the lumbar "lump" in the back of the seat since I have a lot of back trouble, but it seems to work OK for us. We did add sheepskin seatcovers the day we bought it (Sam's Club, $29.95 each) that make any seats more commfortable plus keep the seats in better shape for the day when we sell it. 1 month and 2,000 miles and we are very pleased with out Liberty.
