It is amazing the number of no starts that are 'fixed' by running a
booster cable from the battery negative to the engine block....

It is amazing the number of no starts that are 'fixed' by running a
booster cable from the battery negative to the engine block....

After you try Mikes cable cleaning, if the problem persists I would consider
pulling the starter and taking to Crappy Tire and have them bench test it
(its free), it sounds like a bad starter solenoid, it could however be as
simple as dirt and rust build up on the solenoid connections.
