Sounds plausible especially if the got a "deal" on the air. It is well known
that both companies will cut any corner to save a fraction of a penny at the
expense of consumer safety.
The problem they found with the Canadian Tire air was that it was metric.
In some tire sizes metric air, like metric wrenches, can be used but it
doesn't always fit correctly.

expense of consumer safety.
The problem they found with the Canadian Tire air was that it was metric.
In some tire sizes metric air, like metric wrenches, can be used but it
doesn't always fit correctly.

Re: Injector cleaner fuel additive? Now changing air in Tires..
Ford also put Goodyear Tires on the Explorer as standard equipment built to
the same (from Ford) specs inflated to the same (Ford Spec) pressure.
Most of the Firestone's that did fail came from the same manufacturing
plant. The Goodyear tires did not fail.
