Re: Injector cleaner fuel additive? Now changing air in Tires..
Well, shop air will get you 80% of the way to pure nitrogen - ambient
air is normally 78-80% nitrogen <g>.
I had one of those tires a few years back. Held air perfectly until
the really cold night then it would go flat in a couple of hours.
Air it up and it would then hold fine until the next time the temp
changed by 50-60 dregrees within 24 hours (really warm day followed by
a front and unusual cold). Never did figure out what was causing it
but the problem went away when I finally replaced the tire. I was
leaning toward a teenage son as trhe cause...

We could, but why bother, since typing "top tier gasoline" into your
favorite neighborhood search engine would yield
http://www.toptiergas.com/ why bother.
The designation is allegedly a continuation of a project by BMW and a
coupla others to designate those gasolines with the proper additives to
keep injectors clean [on BMWs] without building up metallic deposits.

Yessss, I would imagine so.

This is not a surprise either.

That *is* the purging method...for your bank account.
There are fuel injector cleaner products. Alleged to work to clean
injectors that are rather dirty. Not that many treatments will buy
a new set of injectors.

I had a #!#@ 164E that refused to start and run properly around Dallas
unless I dropped about half a can of gas additive in it. Odd, but
here in the nocal southbay area, it didn't need it.
