Re: I hate Walmart - a little long
Nope, not a lawyer, just someone who made something of themselves
without relying on corrupt groups. I was part of a union once. I was
forced to join when I had no need for them at all. Making minimum wage
and they took a good percentage of that for NOTHING back to me.
Unions were "useful" once. Not so much anymore.
"why don't you go down to your local teamsters union, or maybe the UAW
and tell them what you think of unions."
ooohhh... will the big bad retards start beating me up??? Sounds about
right for union members.

Re: I hate Walmart - a little long
What about the SoCal supermarket strike? The union stood up the management's
great idea to make supermarket employees pay for their health benefits (while
management still gets it for free). Without the union, these people would have
been screwed.
I have heard similar stories about unions that were "do nothings" for their
members. But the above story makes me beleive unions still make a difference
for some people.
