Re: heard back from emory
I don't think that will help much if at all. It will annoy the 'abuse'
people though, who you want on YOUR side to encourage THEIR
administration to do something. If you **** the computer geeks off with
tons of email they are likely to be less motivated to get involved in
solving the problem. If Emory works anything like Rutgers it only takes
ONE complaint to cause disiplinary action to start.
Fact is though- there is probably very little they can really do to him.
They'll ask him to stop, but if he doesn't then an official disiplinary
procedure could take weeks or even months (if he has tenure maybe years).
I run the usenet server at Rutgers and as such see some number of
complaints like this. Other schools' staff I know operate the same way
that we do; I expect Emory is similar too.

Re: heard back from emory
Has anyone ever thought of sending some of this info to the local papers at
and around Emory? Maybe this could add a little gas to a fire with home
issues Lloyd might have. Moving this to a more PUBLIC source could force
Emory into terminating L.P. I know if my tax dollars and tuition money was
helping Lloyd post 95K times, I'd be calling the man's boss!
