I had my fill of Parker when he was posting in alt.trucks.ford in a thread
about parked Crown Vic patrol cars catching fire when hit from behind by a
speeding truck. Of course he believed it was a design flaw by Ford, never mind
that no vehicle could survive such a collision. He was completely wrong about
the location of the Crown Vic fuel tank, but of course never admitted it, even
when presented with a diagram from a FSM. In short, he's hopeless, and I hope
Emory yanks his network priviliges.

Re: heard back from emory
I didnt read the original post about ford crown vics burning when hit from
the rear, but they will. A friend of mine was hit in the rear and it
burned. Mostly it involves police cars, because there are so many of them
that get hit while they are stopped on the road. Makes me think of the
pinto.
