new wheels-opinions/suggestions? heard of rocky-road.com? any other ideas?
A friend is looking for some new wheels for his TJ, and wants of
course the normal things, a good looking wheel for less money. And, he
wants 3.5" backspacing.
He found this site: http://www.rocky-road.com/wheels.html and asked me
what I thought; if I've ever heard of them or know anyone that has. Do
any of you know anything about this company, and what kind of quality
their wheels are?
Or, do you have any other suggestions for a good looking inexpensive
street-legal rock crawling wheels? Specs he wants/needs:
15x8 rim. Preferably black.
3.5" backspacing.
Thanks,
Bob

I won't do anymore business with them. That is just me...

I bought once from Rocky Road (an ARB locker for my D30). i doubt i will
again. they have great prices, but if you're planning on buying from them,
i hope you aren't in a hurry. they sure aren't. Seems to be a common
complaint.
for simple black steelies (and many other items), i've had good experiences
with Summit racing http://store.summitracing.com
