Re: Handgun storage in a TJ?
Apparently all of you saw what you wanted to see in my post...take it
for what you will. But no one can tell me they honestly need a fully
automatic weapon for anything but mowing down gangbangers and the
Taliban. That's all I need it for..and covering my *** when I am in
the middle of the Saudi desert working on airplanes that carry 40,000
pounds of laser guided high explosives.

Re: Handgun storage in a TJ?
SB, if you are asking me my middle ground...it is simply this.
Education. Use weapons appropriately. This is a few bad apples
thing...and I know ppl hunt with off the wall ****...I can hear it at
night in the middle of the season. Some idiot put a bullet into a
school while he was hunting just recently. Now, tell me, why was he
even aiming his weapon at a school??? Exactly, he should not have
been. He lost situation awareness, or he is just plain dumb. Either
way, he obviously needs an education...whether it be how to maintain
bearing, or "Hey dipshit, the school is right next to the big water
tower you can see from 3 miles away." And I know full well it doesn't
take a 30.06 to bag a deer. There's no damn meat left for jerky if
you do that (entry point dependent, of course.) A wooly mammoth,
maybe. If this doesn't make sense....I don't know what else to tell
you. But, then again, it is late, so it may not make sense :)
