OK. I'll check the whole line next time I can get greasy hopefully tonight.

I have a line coming out of the carb directly into a T so I guess the
solenoid is gone already.

I have a line coming out of the carb directly into a T so I guess the
solenoid is gone already.

Re: evaporation Cannister
Let me correct this. The line coming out of the back of the carb goes
into a T. One line off the T goes to the cannister. The other line
goes to another T. One line from this T goes to the PCV; the other line
goes into this thingy near the firewall. There are 4 lines into this
thingy (what is it? Is this the solenoid??). The pinch test does not
affect idle. I pulled the PCV valve out of the valve cover and it
appears to be sucking OK but I don't know how hard it should suck.
