Re: Do you daily drive 33s/lifted TJ?
I have stock 3.31's...
Not the best, but I get great highway performance in 4th gear. 5th will
still work, but it revs too low and drinks gas because it lugs.
In 4th at 70 mph, I am turning around 2300 rpm and with the spedo buried
she is turning 2700 rpm.
It doesn't really bother me, 5th is just one less shift I have to worry
about.
I trail run mostly off road and very seldom have a need for 1st low, so
I am fine going slow.

Re: Do you daily drive 33s/lifted TJ?
I don't have a TJ, But I do have a CJ-7 and I have driven it to and from
work going on Four years now I think. And it is a little stiffer ride then
before the lift, but I would do it again if need be. It has a Tuff Country
Standard 4" lift so it's a little ruffer ride then the easy ride lift's I'm
sure. I've driven it all over, but I wouldn't drive it all over the country.
I just bought a 1995" Jeep Cherokee Country with a Super Lift 3" kit in it
and I would drive it all over the country. Coil's in front and Leaf spring's
in the rear and your TJ having Coil's all the way around I can only think
that the ride would be better.
86" CJ-7& 95" XJ Jeep's you got to love them...
