Bill, I looked real close at the diagrams and see you are right for
those two combinations.

Most of the others are all separate and do not share oil.

Does the T14 or 90 still have a stupid button vent? If so, the 'both'
the tranny and T-case can easily get filled with water....

Hi Mike,
I can't remember, mine blew up while they were behind the Buick V6,
when I switched to the Muncie M-22 Corvette four speed, but the heavy
wheel and foot blew that a couple of times before it got the Chevy:

if they were only two wheel drive, but as you see there's no need for
them with that giant water inlet you pointed out on my Dana 18:

out of low range, where the breaking point now, is my front driveshaft,
