Dana 18 oil change?
Hi
I have been installing a handbrake to my M38A1, and in the process the Dana
18 transfer has been empty for oil.
Where should i put new oil in, and how to figure out when there is enough?
I have spent the last hour searhing google, wothout any results.

go to earlycj5.com they will help you. there is a cover on floor by
passenger seat that unbolts. there is a plug on side of tcase that you
can use with a small hose to fill. tcase & tranny share oil so drain
tranny too. fill tranny first (there is also an inspection cover for
it too) then fill tcase.

Thanks both of you, Bill for always having a explaining picture ready and
Maxx for the very fine explanation.
My jeep is rebuild with an BorgWarner T65 automatic so there must be some
kind of sealing between t-case and tranny, since the Dana 18 properly don't
like automatic fluid?
