Coolant suprise

Re: Coolant suprise
I said "no name" because the name wasn't recognizible. It could easily be
made by one of the name brand manufacturers. I'll bet it's the cheapest
formulation though, and which one is that? There is a lot of information on
the back, including the major ingredients. Next time I go I'll see if I can
figure it out.
Thanks.

Re: Coolant suprise
Ya know, It wasn't that long ago that it didn't matter what brand you
bought because it was all IAT coolant....
That basic formula was made by everyone and it had been in use for decades
but was no longer able to keep up with the changes in cooling system
requirements.

Re: Coolant suprise
It would be helpful to know if the cheap-*** (pardon my French) stuff is
"safe for all uses" like it says on the can. Next time I get a chance, I
will see what I can figure out from the label. If so, I know what I would
use.
