You have verified your alternator battery's terminal is connected
to the battery and the stator is being tickle. You need another new
alternator.

So the blk/tan wire should not have voltage? I pulled the alt and it
tested good, I tried to exchange it for another but they said since it
passed they wouldn't do it. Thanks for the reply Bill

Take it back because it's not good now.
On a GM the Delco alternator like you have, the number two would
turn off the idiot light.

Take it back because it's not good now.
On a GM the Delco alternator like you have, the number two would
turn off the idiot light.
