You should check the "new" alternator again. My guess is you took off a bad
one and put another bad one in its place.

So is the battery dead again? If the battery is fully charged the
Amp meter will read zero. If you're reading the stock gauge than that is
in volts and should always read fourteen while the engine is running, no
mater what your charging system is actually doing. If your volt meter
just reads the battery's voltage, twelve, than you have an open between
the battery and the alternator, the fuse link or it connections. Run a
jumper will test that. Still no charge? Than that's what we have
warranties for. And don't reverse the polarity next time.

Amp meter will read zero. If you're reading the stock gauge than that is
