Yep, there I went again and I was right that you would find some way to
respond to that police officer in a nasty manner... " Officer..... And I
use the term loosely". It's apparent you have no respect for yourself
because you sure as hell don't have respect for others.

Where I work, we only have one car, our radio doesn't work everywhere, and
there are alot of back roads. Our backup can be 30 minutes away, so we have
to be paranoid. They (criminals) are putting weapons in everything,
including cellphones that shoot bullets, putting razor blades in pockets, as
well as bulbs that they crunch before being searched. They also have armor
piercing bullets, so we have to watch out for that too. If you pull a gun,
or something that looks like one, you will probably get shot. If you have
10 officers out somewhere, and the criminal gets shot 70 times, that seems
in excess, however, it is only 7 rounds per officer. My duty weapon holds
16 rounds when I have one chambered, so 7 rounds isnt many, especially when
it could mean the difference between life and death. When a person is high
on any type drug, they feel things differently. You can shoot someone 5
times, and they can keep coming at you. When you put people in prison, you
have to watch your back. Say you arrest somone for selling drugs. Most of
the time, they got the drugs from someone else to resell, and didn't buy
them to begin with, makeing them the middle man. If I arrest someone for
selling, then they are upset with me, as well as the supplier, for taking
their profit away. I hope I never have to draw my weapon, much less shoot
someone, but if I do, I will know I did it so I could keep my promise to my
wife, that I will come home at night.
All you do bill is avoid giving a direct answer to most posts, you do give
some good advice sometimes. People don't come here to get a link to google,
they might have tried that and couldn't find what they were looking for.
They might also be looking for multiple opinions from people who have
experienced the same thing. When I got my Jeep, after about 12k miles, the
front end started bouncing at about 55 mph. I found out that it was caused
by the tires being out of round. You shouldn't generalize about someone
because of a bad experience or what you see on tv. My grandfather is the
mayor of a town other than the one I work for. Some people don't like him,
so they take it out on me just because we are related. I could be out
makeing a Whole lot more money working on computers, but would rather help
people by keeping drunks off the road and anything else to keep people
safe. My cousin is a Marine, when he came home from Iraq a couple months
ago, he watched 5 minutes of news, before he got mad about how wrong they
were showing everything, and turned off the tv. Just because it is on the
news, doesn't mean they are saying everything. If someone runs from me they
will get chased. I don't know if they are just scared, or just killed their
family, but in my eyes, if they are willing to run, it is too dangerous for
them to be on the road and they need to be stoped. I don't mean to aim this
at just you, bill, but you are the most verbal on here, which isn't a bad
thing, as long as your answer stays on topic and provide some good advice.
You have some good links, but when you say get a real jeep and just show a
pic of your old one, most people would prefer you kept quite. There are
more people here that do the same thing, but it is not as often.
