Re: Bad afternoon
Wow, that must have been a dreadful experience for you. Sounds like you did
everything you could, sad, very sad.
I stayed over a weekend in San Diego after some business meetings ther so I
could head out to Ocotillo Wells and Anza Borrego. The road out there from
Julian was heavily trafficed with bikers and one crashed badly right after
passing me on a blind curve at some insane rate of speed. Miraculously he
was ok, the bike was totalled. After I knew he was OK I wanted to just slap
the living $#!t out of him.

Re: Bad afternoon
I know the feeling and it will stick with you for sometime. Last week
I stopped at a pedestrian crossing on a 4 lane street and watched
helplessly as a 6 year old girl was hit and flew over the top of a
car, the person coming the other way failed to noticed traffic had
stopped. The girl was crtitical for 3 days but it sounds like she will
pull through ....... I was shook up for several days and I still drive
super cautious around city streets.

Re: Bad afternoon
Today, I personally own three street motorcycles. I've been riding since
1977 and when I hear stories like this, I question my sanity. Thanks for
doing everything you could for this guy. I'm sure his son will remember
it for an eternity.
